The Tree of Light and Remembrance Ceremony is the Mahtomedi Area Food Shelf’s annual fundraiser and an opportunity for community members and organizations to come together to help those in need.
Located in Veteran’s Memorial Park, the tree is decorated with lights to represent loved ones. From now until December 1, community members can purchase lights for the tree to remember those who have passed, brighten the day of someone struggling, or honor those who are an inspiration. Each $10 light keeps the Mahtomedi Area Food Shelf stocked throughout the year, bringing hope and support to local families. Click here to donate.
Join us on December 4 at 6:30 pm at Veteran’s Memorial Park for the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony featuring a special address from Julie Conzemius, our 2026-27 Mahtomedi Teacher of the Year. (Pictured is Lisa Mathies, 2023-24 Mahtomedi Teacher of the Year.)
